After 16 years, Aamir Khan and Darsheel Safary, the duo who shared the screen in Taare Zameen Par, are teaming up again for a unique endeavor.
Darsheel recently shared a collage of photos with Aamir on Instagram. The first photo is a snapshot from their successful film Taare Zameen Par, while the second photo showcases a mature Darsheel alongside Aamir.
Hints from Darsheel’s post suggest that he and Aamir are joining for Sitaare Zameen Par, a follow-up to Taare Zameen Par. Some followers speculated that the pair might have worked together on a commercial.
The plot of Taare Zameen Par centered on Ishaan, a gifted eight-year-old boy. Aamir, portraying his art teacher, identifies Ishaan’s dyslexia and assists him in unlocking his full potential. Aamir recently provided some insights about his upcoming film Sitaare Zameen Par at a summit.
Aamir revealed at the event, “Sitaare Zameen Par is my forthcoming film as a lead actor. We aim to release it by the year’s end, Christmas. It’s an engaging film with a storyline that I find appealing. The film’s shooting has already commenced.”
Genelia is expected to have a significant role in Sitaare Zameen Par. In terms of production, Aamir will be producing Rajkumar Santoshi’s Lahore 1947, which features Sunny Deol as the main character.
