The stars of the 2003 blockbuster “Freaky Friday”, Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis, are set to reprise their roles in the upcoming sequel.
Lohan, now 37, recently made an appearance on Andy Cohen’s SiriusXM show where she was questioned about the potential sequel to the popular film. She confirmed that a sequel is indeed in the works.
She refrained from revealing too much, stating, “I won’t say that yet. I don’t want to say too much. We are both excited. I’m gonna speak for Jamie.”
Curtis, aged 65, had previously expressed her interest in participating in the sequel during a 2022 interview. The original “Freaky Friday”, directed by Mark Waters, starred Lohan and Curtis, along with Chad Michael Murray and Mark Harmon.
The plot of the film centered around a mother and daughter who frequently quarrel. In an unexpected twist, they swap bodies and experience each other’s lives.
